Background
A vacancy has arisen for a part-qualified accountant within the finance department of a major Irish Banking Group. Reporting to the business unit accountant, the successful candidate will play a major role in delivering high quality financial information to Group Finance and to the client business units, while gaining valuable experience within a busy finance department in a major Irish bank.
Key Responsibilities
* Provision of financial information to internal clients
* Assist in the preparation of statutory accounts and corporation tax returns for subsidiary companies
* Assist in the month-end reporting cycle
* Assist in the analysis of key accounts
* Control and review of balance sheet accounts
* Other projects and duties that may arise
Key Requirements
* Part-qualified Accountant / Graduate with the intention of commencing their accountancy study, with 1 years financial services experience
* Possess excellent IT skills, with an emphasis on Excel and GL
* Customer focused with a commitment to deliver a superior service
* Good analytical and numerical skills
* Organised and focused
